KapStone: Jones, Midgette get promotions

KapStone Kraft Paper Corporation recently announced the promotion of Angela Renee Jones and Steve Midgette. Jones was promoted to the position of Maintenance Planner-Paper Mill E&I Group.

She began her career at the Roanoke Rapids mill in 1981 in the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program and progressed to an A Class Maintenance Employee in the E&I Department.

She received a bachelor of science degree in sociology from North Carolina State University in 2005. She resides in Roanoke Rapids and has two daughters, Myesha and Ta’She and one son, Wayne.

Midgette was promoted to the position of Lead Person-Paper Mill E&I Group.

He began his career at Roanoke Rapids Mill in 1995 in the Maintenance Apprenticeship Program and progressed to an A Class Maintenance Employee in the Mechanical Maintenance Group.

In 2008, he transferred to the E&I Maintenance Department and has filled in on a number of key roles such as Lead Person and Planner.

He received a bachelor of science in industrial technologies in manufacturing from East Carolina University in 2010 and an associate’s degree in electromechanical technologies from Halifax Community College in 2000.

He and his wife, Andrea, reside in Roanoke Rapids.

 

They have two sons, Jackson and Brayden.
