
The Halifax County Sheriff's Office reported the following, according to Detective B.C. Griffin:
On October 17, the sheriff’s office responded to a breaking and entering in the area of Highway 561 in Halifax.
Griffin is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person from the security video.

On October 7, the sheriff’s office responded to the area of Highway 125 in Roanoke Rapids for a residential breaking and entering where jewelry and electronics were stolen.
After further investigation Griffin obtained warrants on Tony Ray Arrington, 45, of Wilson.
Arrington has been charged with breaking and entering; larceny after breaking and entering, and possession of stolen property.
Arrington is currently in the custody of state Department of Public Safety and will be arrested upon his release.
