
One man was arrested last month and warrants were obtained today for a second person following a December 16 residential break-in in which money was stolen.

Detective Willie Murphy Jr. of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said the case, in which was Jerome Barnes Jr. was arrested and Travell Rashawn Scott is still sought, was initially investigated by Corporal P. Moyer, who gathered evidence and developed persons of interest.
Murphy obtained felony warrants on Barnes, 24, of Enfield.
Barnes was charged with two counts of breaking and entering, larceny, possession of stolen goods, and obtaining property by false pretense.
He was arrested December 27 by Detective D. Bozard of the Enfield Police Department. He has a January 13 court date.
Continued investigation by Murphy and Bozard led to warrants for Scott, 21, of Enfield, on similar counts as Barnes.
