Rain forced Roanoke Valley Relay for Life indoors at Halifax Community College this evening.
Event organizers, however, got all the events planned for the evening, with the exception of luminary ceremony, off.

The survivors walk and caregivers walk was held in the 400 building and the Oak Grove Baptist Church praise dance team and local band The Deep performed in the auditorium.
Events Saturday get under way at 8 a.m. The luminary ceremony will be rescheduled at a later date.
