One still sought in Three Flags shooting

Only one person has yet to be served warrants in a March 29 shooting in the area of a Weldon convenience store, the Halifax County Sheriff’s Office reports.

Another person was arrested in the case Thursday by the Roanoke Rapids Police Department, Chief Chuck Hasty reported in his twice-weekly roundup.
Tamera Mona Anderson, 19, of Roanoke Rapids, was arrested by Master Officer Gerald Morris on outstanding warrants for attempted murder and conspiracy related to the shooting investigation as well as an unrelated unauthorized use of a motor vehicle charge.
Anderson received a $21,000 bond and December 5 court date, Hasty said in his report.
Detective Robert Hale of the sheriff’s office confirmed he received the report from Hasty on Anderson’s arrest.

Lassiter remains at large.

Hale said the only person to not be served in the case is Kvon Lassiter of Murfreesboro. He said Lassiter, 21, tends to frequent areas in Murfreesboro, Weldon and Northampton County.
Fabian Sexton of Woodland was picked up in August, Hale said, and another person who had been sought, Keshara Boone, has a December 21 district court date to answer to a charge of felony conspiracy in the case.
There has been no new information to surface on the shooting, which occurred shortly before 9 p.m. in the area of Three Flag’s, only that it was related to an earlier dispute between the parties, Hale said.
Hale did confirm this evening there was a conspiracy between all the parties involved in the matter to allegedly commit murder.
The victim has recovered from injuries received in the shooting.
