Drugs were found in a septic tank and two men were detained after their car got stuck following an afternoon raid in the Faulcon Road area Wednesday.

Agents of the City County Drug Task Force retrieved 3.5 grams of cocaine and 3.5 grams of marijuana from the septic system after they noticed the toilet had been flushed, Captain A.M. Harris said this morning.
The raid, which commenced at 4 p.m. resulted in the arrest of three men on cocaine and marijuana counts, Harris said in a statement.
Harris said the Halifax County Gang Task Force is also investigating because tattoos of interest were identified on one of the men arrested — Leon Lamont Burgess. Harris declined to elaborate.
Agent D. Hundley investigated the residence before applying for a search warrant, which Harris said in the statement was based on several citizen complaints.
As agents pulled into the driveway with blue lights activated, a vehicle attempted to leave the residence but got stuck in the neighbor’s front yard.
During the search of the vehicle, with the assistance of Halifax County Sheriff’s Office Corporal P. Moyer and his dog, Bosco, agents located 1 gram of cocaine and a homemade crack pipe.
Hundley arrested and charged the following:
Burgess, 34, of Faulcon Road, with felony possession of cocaine, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance and possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce.
Anthony Andrea Taylor, 29, of Carver Street, with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting a public officer
Lawrence Clinton Johnson III, 22, of Airbase Road, with felony possession of cocaine.
Johnson received a $1,000 bond. Burgess and Taylor received $2,000 bonds.
All have February 20 court dates.
