A Littleton man is wanted for allegedly stealing and damaging HVAC units from a total of 13 structures, including churches, unoccupied houses and commercial buildings.
Detective Chris Scott of the Halifax County Sheriff's Office said this afternoon he is still trying to put a dollar figure on the damages caused by the crimes, as well as the value of the items stolen and allegedly sold.

Jerry Ikee Stovall, 25, is from the Littleton area and is believed to mainly frequent that area, Scott said.
He faces 13 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses, 13 counts of misdemeanor larceny, 13 counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods, 13 counts of injury to personal property, felony breaking and entering, and larceny after breaking and entering. “We have been receiving several incident reports of damage and theft of central heating and air unit parts from multiple homes in the Littleton area.,” Scott said in a statement.
The commodities consist of aluminum, copper, and metal were stolen and later sold for an undisclosed amount of money.
The crimes have occurred since around the middle of March through the first of this month.
