An Enfield man is wanted by the Halifax County Sheriff's Office on two counts of bigamy.
Detective J.M. Clark said the felony warrants were obtained today after a woman Tony Fitzgerald Hilliard married in 1989 reported she couldn't get married because she was still wed to Hilliard after their brief marriage.
Hilliard, 50, remarried two different times since the 1989 marriage without filing for divorce. It is not clear why he didn't file for divorce.
Attempts to locate Hilliard have failed. He has ties to the Rocky Mount and Enfield areas.
